This project was a collaborative effort between the Ypsilanti Area Convention & Visitors Bureau and Eastern Michigan University. It was put together by Renee Benn, a graduate student in the Historic Preservation Program at Eastern Michigan University, who did the research and writing, and Andrew Jones from the Convention Bureau, who did the graphics and put together the actual brochure. Mr. Jones and Dr. Ted Ligibel, Director of the Historic Preservation Program at the University, instructed the student and gave advice.
A big thank you goes to photographer Brian Looper, without whom the modern pictures of the buildings would not be of such high quality. A professional photographer, he donated his time, expertise and equipment to make sure the tour buildings looked their best.
